Keeping up with all of the kids...
Why in the name of Buddah, Jesus and the holy Chee Whiz, would you EVER bother bring your toddler to a bar?!? No, not Applebee's, or BJ's or a restaurant bar/grill or other family pub kind of place, but a REAL bar, the dim lighting, hard liquor, sticky floors, happy hour kind of place?

Apparently someone feels the need to. Guess what mom or dad? SCREW YOU! That is not only irresponsible parenting, it is rude to the patrons of the bar. I know some bars do serve breakfast and lunch, fine. get your damn kids out of there by 9'o clock and put them to bed! It's pathetic really. People are trying to argue that Irish people do it, so it's ok?! Aside from sounding like a lame ass excuse, i doubt that crap is even true.
While I am at it, unless the movie is a kids movie, don't bring them there either. Some playhouses have special kid's plays. Don't bring them to a Gilbert and Sullivan! They will get BORED! I am not against anyone having kids, but there are some places where you should just get a babysitter!!! If you can afford movie tickets these days, you can freaking afford a responsible person to entertain the children for a few hours!
Kids, some or most of them, are not mature enough to know how to behave in public places. Fine, I can understand, and they have to learn somehow. But don't teach them how at a movie theater! It's damn rude for you to teach Jr. life lessons about shutting up during a movie that isn't for kids.
Some places are for people to escape from daily life crap like whiny children!
